Terza scultura a tema mitologico ,”Scherzo di un fauno” legno di tigli e acrilici. Il fauno è una contraddizione, una figura spensierata e fanciullesca ma nello stesso tempo animale nel senso più brutale. E’ un “mostro”, e non una bestia feroce, perché anche se dotato di coscienza non può o non vuole conformarsi alla morale umana, e così facendo sfida l’idea che quella morale sia universale, naturale, o determinata. Il fascino del mostro non risiede nel voler confutare quella morale, ma testarne i limiti, e riconoscerla come un prodotto di categorie umane e solo umane. Al cadere dell’ultimo ordigno, ci porteremo anche il “giusto”, insieme al ” bello” e al “vero”, nell’abisso con noi

Third sculpture with a mythological theme, “Joke of a Faun” lime wood and acrylics. The faun is a contradiction, a carefree and childish figure but at the same time an animal in the most brutal sense. He is a “monster”, and not a wild beast, because even if endowed with conscience he cannot or does not want to conform to human morality, and in doing so challenges the idea that that morality is universal, natural, or determined. The charm of the monster does not lie in wanting to refute that morality, but to test its limits, and recognize it as a product of human and only human categories. When the last bomb falls, we will also take the “just”, together with the “beautiful” and the “true”, into the abyss with us
